Cisco vs Aruba Wireless: Picking by Management Model
Both make excellent access points. The decision that matters is how the network is managed and licensed, not which radio is faster.

The questions that actually matter are usually asked afterward: response time from when — the ticket being logged, or an engineer actually engaging? Is that number measured during business hours only, or genuinely 24/7?
Ask to see an actual monthly reporting sample before signing, not a mock-up. If a vendor cannot show you real ticket data, patch compliance rates, and uptime figures from an existing client, that reporting probably does not exist yet either.
Ask how escalations work when the first-line engineer cannot resolve an issue — is there a named senior engineer or architect behind them, or does the ticket sit in a queue?
Finally, ask what happens at contract renewal if you want to leave: how quickly can they hand over documentation, credentials, and network diagrams? A provider that makes offboarding difficult is telling you something about how they operate.
We built our own managed IT service around these exact questions, because we got tired of hearing them asked about competitors during transition projects.
Our engineers are happy to walk through your specific requirements and recommend the right approach — no obligation, no generic sales pitch.
