Small and mid-sized businesses in Saudi Arabia require enterprise-grade reliability and security, but often lack large dedicated network engineering teams. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) addressed this exact gap with the Aruba Instant On family.
The Aruba Instant On 1930 Switch Series (including JL683A and JL686A) delivers smart-managed Gigabit connectivity with 10GbE SFP+ uplinks and generous PoE power budgets to drive modern IP cameras, VoIP phones, and Wi-Fi 6 access points.
Paired with Aruba Instant On AP22 and AP25 Wi-Fi 6 access points, businesses benefit from unified mobile app cloud management, guest portal isolation, and automated RF optimization without subscription fees.
Shabackat IT Solutions stocks the complete lineup of Aruba Instant On switches and access points in Riyadh with instant B2B quotation turnaround.

List every IP camera, VoIP phone and access point, check each device's power draw on its manufacturer datasheet, and add the totals. That figure decides between the Aruba Instant On 1930 24G 4SFP/SFP+ 195W (JL683A) and the 48-port 370W model (JL686A). Leave headroom for devices you expect to add over the next few years, because a switch whose PoE budget is fully used on day one limits later expansion.
Match access points to the environment rather than buying one model everywhere. The AP22 and AP25 bring Wi-Fi 6 for offices with many phones and laptops. The AP15 (R2X06A) is an indoor Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) option. The AP17 (R2X11A) is outdoor-rated for courtyards, parking areas and yards where an indoor unit is not suitable. Mixing indoor and outdoor models under the same Instant On management keeps the guest network and RF settings consistent across the site.
A few mistakes come up often. Buyers plan SFP+ uplinks but forget to order compatible transceivers or cabling. Access points get mounted wherever a cable already exists, not where coverage is needed. Guest and staff traffic share one network instead of using the guest portal isolation the platform provides. Small offices with several branches also tend to set each site up differently. Agreeing on a standard switch and AP template before installation saves time when you add the next location.

The JL683A is the Aruba Instant On 1930 24G 4SFP/SFP+ 195W model. The JL686A doubles the port count to 48 and has a 370W PoE budget. Add up the port count and PoE power your cameras, phones and access points need, allow room for growth, then pick the model that covers both.
The Aruba Instant On AP17 (R2X11A) is the outdoor-rated Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) access point on this page. For indoor spaces, the options are the Wi-Fi 6 AP22 and AP25 or the Wi-Fi 5 AP15 (R2X06A), depending on user density and budget.
According to the article, the Instant On switches and access points are managed through a unified mobile app with cloud management. This includes guest portal isolation and automated RF optimization, without subscription fees.
